how to ACTUALLY start calisthenics 🤠✨🍓🤸🏽 okay besties let’s break it downnn… 1. TRAIN YOUR CORE - most cali exercises are gonna require a strong core so make sure you’re not skipping those ab workoutssss!! 2. DEADHANGS - do some deadhangs (literally just hanging from the bar) so you can get familiar with the bar & work on your grip strength too!! 3. PUSH STRENGTH - to increase push strength focus on push ups & tricep dips + especially shoulder strength for handstands (shoulder press & lateral raises are ur best friend) 4. PULL STRENGTH - make sure you’re training your back because we’re gonna be smashing out some pull ups before you know it!! 5. 1-2 SKILLS - i always recommend focusing on one or two skills at a time so you can put all your effort into those!! you can then base your training around these skills and work on specific drills e.g handstand = bunny hops, wall holds, shoulder taps or pull ups = negatives, banded pull ups, australian pull ups handstand guide + 20 week beginner calisthenics guide in my bio 🫶🏼 if you’re looking for that extra 1-1 support & want a calisthenics / training programme designed specifically for you… fill out my coaching enquiry form in my bio & we can chat 💌 #calisthenics #calisthenicsworkout #calisthenicstraining #calisthenicsgirls #gymgirl #handstand #handstands #gymmotivation #calisthenicsmotivation
