There is a reason to why I do the work I do , I give my all because it reminds me of my younger self and how desperate I was to be loved by my own parents, it reminds me how hard it is to be have a traumatized childhood with no one seeing you , it reminds me of how much and how hard life can be when you are a single mother and when you have a child with special needs and continuously thinking about what to do to support those children, I love these children a lot it is so hard sometimes because I myself have gone through a lot and I have scars that reminds me each and everyday of the pain but I try my best to stand up and show up and work on making a difference. I am in the middle of building a school and I am grateful of the community created and I am in need of your help for me to finalize this years project 🫂
Working with teen mothers have been one of the best projects because sometimes they just need love and guidance and sometimes they just need someone to see them and fight for them 🫂
"I recently shared the story of an 8-year-old girl who captured my heart. She was admitted to the hospital, taking care of her entire family. We decided to take her in, but first, we conducted a home assessment to ensure the best decision. Witnessing their living conditions was heartbreaking. I've shared their story in the video below. Despite the challenges, we're welcoming this resilient girl to our school next term! We'll provide her with the same love, care, and support we offer all our children.
Since we operate both as a school and a foster home this is our first year operating like that and we are in a process of trying to see what works and what doesn’t work but most of these children are at the babies house waiting for a second Christmas that will happen on the actual Christmas date . We appreciate your support I can’t wait to share the 2nd Christmas videos of the kids reaction and everything, if you have a comment please be kind 🥹
