Blair’s crew at @samson_pools are total professionals; building pools in Manitoba since 2007! Picking the liner is always a tricky part because it ends up looking SO different once water hits it, and you pick this early on (February for me) so when I saw it all filled up and the most perfect sparkling jewel color, I breathed a sigh of relief! 💎 It’s giving Mediterranean summer which will only continue further once the light finish concrete is poured . Summers have been levelled UP! one of the most frequently asked questions I’ve had is cost. while I won’t share my exact final cost (as there are many variables that may or may not apply to you!) a person can expect to start at $100k for a good sized basic in ground pool. Things that increased our cost was the long custom stairs, the size, the deep end bench, the automatic cover, as well as a considerable amount of additional concrete (3ft surround is included in the basic). Our ending cost was closer to $150k. A lot of factors went into our decision but the long and short of it is that we love where we live, it’s affordable, and we don’t plan to move. We weren’t interested in owning a cabin etc, and wanted to invest in something that our family and friends could enjoy for the rest of our lives. We recognize what a privilege it is to be able to do this, and look forward to sharing it with others 💕 Shall I continue sharing as we fence and landscape?
