This wasn’t meant to happen… but we did it anyway!! 🙌🫶☺️ After ‘that’ brand pulled out from paying a supplier, the supplier was left stuck with fabric they’d already paid for. At the same time, Jess had to walk away from her swimwear collection - one she’d poured so much love into for her community. We couldn’t let it end like that… So we didn’t 🙌 we paid the supplier, brought this collection to life… not for a brand, but for the people it was always meant for!! This wasn’t business, it was personal! And wow did you guys show up… over 23,000 of you signed up and over 55% of the stock sold on launch night! We’re so proud and grateful. Thank you for showing up and turning something that was nearly lost into something truly special. This might have been a one-off, but it’s a project we’ll cherish forever. A moment that literally is a dream come true 🥹🏡☀️🫶🔑 We talked about this since I can remember - to have a little place abroad where not only we could make incredible memories together but our friends and family could come too! 😍 I honestly feel so proud and overwhelmingly grateful and what makes it so special for me is we did it together ❤️

A few weeks ago I got a call from a long term supplier who had been left in a really tough situation - they’d brought fabric and prepared everything for a plus-size swimwear range, but sadly the brand that placed the order had refused to pay and the supplier had reached out asking if there was anything I could do to help. At the same time, I saw how gutted the lovely @jessontheplussize was that she wouldn’t be able to release her swimwear collection this year. After all the love and effort she poured into creating something for her community, she’d had to unfortunately disassociate from the brand and walk away from all the work she’d put in… So… we had a chat. We couldn’t let it end like that - not for Jess, not for her community, and not for the suppliers who’d been left unpaid. So together, Jess and I decided to pay the supplier for all the fabric they had bought. We also paid the factory for production and started everything from scratch, added some extra special bits, and brought this to life in a new way - not for a brand, but just simply for the people it was always meant for…. And just like that a one off brand ‘Project Swimwear’ was born. This is a one-time collection made with purpose and we are SO excited to be launching it on April 30th. But what’s so exciting about this is we’ve managed to extend the sizing so its not just sizes 16-32, we’ve also added limited stock in size 10,12 & 14 too 🙌 AND we are giving early access via projectswimwear.co.uk 🫶👙💦
