I feel excited because I’ve rediscovered the long-lost spark for creating in general. The journey of self-reflection is only just beginning. I didn’t grow up aspiring to be an entertainer—I was a creator. I used to draw and live in fictional fantasy worlds all the time. Creating art and music both stimulate the same part of my overactive brain. There’s no ego involved. It’s just me and my inner pain, expressed through these paintings. I don’t feel like a professional yet, but this project might be going somewhere in the future.
