Looking for holiday games? I’ve got five fun ones right here! Make sure to like and save for later. The first game is “The Ornament Dunk”. We tied plastic ornaments around our waists and stuck a plastic cup to our stomachs. Do whatever is necessary to land the ornament in the cup without using your hands! The second game is the “Snowball Avalanche”. Stack 10 cups in a pyramid with a ball on top.  The fastest one to collapse the stack wins. But the players can only use one hand and use the cup with the ball on top to collapse the stack. And don’t forget to grab the ball to secure the win! The Third game is the “Cookie Dunk”. Hang a cookie above your head while the other end is attached to your foot. Players must lift their leg to lower the cookie and catch it with their mouths. Thorough stretching before participating is highly encouraged.  The fourth game is the “Chimney Shoot”. Players will take turns rolling ornaments down a ramp onto toilet paper rolls. We used a cardboard bristol board to ensure an even playing area. It seems simple but this one was the hardest to win. The fifth and last game is “The Christmas Bow”. The player who chooses the string to the big bow wins the prize. Use peg hooks on free wall space to hang keys, bags and cleaning products to keep the floor clutter free. Have a big basket as a drop off zone. Like very viral. Let’s try it on a doorway that’s almost 8 feet wide. I grabbed an extra long shower curtain rod. Tighten it. And wrapped two long garlands over it. Secured it with zip ties. Then I put these pretty golden stars, some twinkle lights and with the help of my husband, we hoisted and secured the shower curtain rod. I decided to add some snowflakes for extra pizzaz and It’s been up for a couple of days no with no signs of budging. Will you be trying this hack this year? Put cotton balls in the middle of the table and wear plastic cups as hooves. Pair up with a partner, and each person is only allowed to use one hoof. Try to pick up as many cotton balls as possible. Whoever has the most wins. This was a riot. The second game is, “Runny Nose.” Pair up with another player and dab vaseline on your nose. Transfer the cotton balls from one plate to the other with only your nose. This is a lot harder than it looks!  
The third game is “Santa’s Delivery”, a family favourite! Place a tennis ball inside a cup and slide it across the table. You want the tennis ball to drop into the bucket! We kept playing until everyone got the ball in!  The fourth game is “Candy Cane Lane”. Players had to transfer candy canes using only the candy cane tied to their head. You gotta hook the candy cane and race across the room to unhook it in another container with a narrow opening. Fastest one wins.  The fifth game is “Santa’s Sleigh”. Fill a cup of water to the brim and place it on a roll of toilet paper. Quickly roll the toilet paper until your cup reaches the finish line. But be careful not to spill or your toilet paper will rip.  I hope you have fun playing these games! Trying out @Guto ‘s viral Christmas tree hack. I used a 12 gauge wire to create a floating magical swirl around the tree and wrapped twinkle lights around it. The effect is magical. 🔗: https://shopmy.us/collections/955710 Or find link in Bi0 (Viral Christmas Tree) I found that I needed to use additional wires to support the swirl structure. I did this by affixing the support wire to the trunk of the tree and hooking it back into the tree so the swirls could stay in place and support the weight of the lights. The crystal beads hanging down with the combination of the twinkling lights is really magical. I tried incorporating something new this year with the iridescent stars but I don’t know how to feel about it. I love letting my imagination run wild at Value Village because you’ll never know what you will find! We were missing a tree topper so I kept my eyes open and found a star ornament that just needed to be tweaked. I wrapped some twinkle lights and trimmed it down to size and there we have it! I love hosting crafting activities for my friends and family. Value Village is the perfect place to shop for materials. I grabbed some taper candles and painted my own designs with non toxic acrylic paint. It turned out so cute! Plus did you spot the little dish I got as my new paint palette? And I couldn’t pass up these bells I found, they sound so magical! I repurposed them into an ornament and hung them on the staircase. Here’s how to tie the perfect double looped velvet ribbon. Consider adding bows to your decor this year. I love how this simple DIY can freshen up your holiday decor without breaking the bank. You can choose any colour of ribbon you like and you can make them as small or as big as you want! Hi I’m Wendy. I like Christmas and DIYs. Like really really like Christmas. Welcome to my series, the 24 days of Christmas diys, recipes and activities. Welcome to day one. Here’s how you tie the perfect ribbon. Take 3 feet of ribbon and hold it in the palm of your left hand. Flip your hand over and bring the ribbon over your thumb. Now make a figure 8 and weave under your pointer finger. Turn your ribbon so the velvet side is up. And then place your ribbon over your pointer finger. You’ll want to do this three times. So you’ll end up with two loops on your pointer finger and three loops on your thumb. Take the other end of your ribbon and tuck it under your figure eights twice. Now tuck you ribbon end into the loop you just made and pull tight to tie your ribbon together. Slip the ribbon off your hands and fluff the bows to your liking. Snip off the ends and carefully seal your velvet ribbon with a flame so it doesn’t fray. Now slip a floral wire at the back of the bow and affix it to your Christmas tree, in a wreath, in your clothes, in your hair or on a present! It does take a bit of practice at first but once you’ve done it a few times, you’ll be able to tie the perfect ribbon every time.
