I know in my soul this had to happen. I feel God working in ways I can’t even explain…shifting things, protecting us, preparing something better. But even with that peace, the pain still hits hard… especially when I think about my kids. I wonder what’s going through their minds. I hope they feel how deeply I love them, how hard I’ve fought to give them the best of me, even on the days I was breaking.😭 Some days feel unbearably heavy. Lovers become strangers every day. I just keep telling myself that this needed to happen. My kids will grow up with resilience and confidence watching how I handle every obstacle I face in life. What someone you don’t realize is that I was the one who had to make the decision. Have you ever felt like you were stuck between a rock and a hard place? 18 months ago, I stopped doing SW. Not because I had to—but because I knew it wasn’t who I really was. Truth is, I didn’t do it for the money at first. The truth is, I didn’t need to do it for money because for the last six years, I’ve been making a full-time income from home—without having to compromise my peace, my body, or my values. & I took that for granted. Almost 4 months ago I moved myself & my two bio kids into an rv & their dad kept the house. Yesterday the lease of his new place started & that meant it’s officially move out time for us all (I kept some thing there) I hit some of my hardest walls in this house. I learned all of my triggers, I got face to face with my trauma, I realized a lot about myself as a person and a mother. It’s not sad but absolutely emotional. The woman I am becoming had to go through all of the trials and tribulations this house has seen. I’m grateful & excited for this new chapter of life. The hardest thing ever in life is to realize what you wanted & what you were meant for are two separate paths. Spending years of your life working toward something that wasn’t part of Gods plan for you. The easy things are never worth it & the hard things are what make you into the person you want to be. It’s been almost 5 months since we all lived under the same roof… and last week, we closed the chapter for good. The final move out is done. That house held some of the best memories. Laughter in the kitchen. Dance parties in the living room. Holidays, birthdays, late night talks. It was messy and beautiful and full of life. But seasons change.
