An update on renovating our dream home before we move in!! One thing led to another and now we’re changing out all the floors, knocking down walls, painting the whole house and more. We figure this is all so much easier to do while the house is empty! Knocking all the walls down was SO much work!! 😅 we were physically so exhausted everyday. And we’re so grateful we found @renvateutah to install our gorgeous @hewnfloor. Seriously 10/10 can’t recommend them enough. (Not sponsored! Just completely impressed) Next up is painting the whole house and I’m literally going to explode with excitement waiting to see it!!! Feeling so grateful everyday 🩷 #dreamhomereno

They’re not allowed down here until Christmas morning so that they’ll be surprised! What do you think of our plans??? Replying to @Royal Cat Cattery As far as which one is easier, personally, I think there are too many factors and preferences to give a straight answer! While taping the stripes wasn’t easy, neither is putting up wallpaper especially on the ceiling! What about removal? Or personally, how much do you hate skim coating and sanding drywall??🤪😂 I’m super curious with all the factors of cost, time and labor—-Would you tape it or would wallpaper??

Replying to @Katie We're getting so close!! ~ I am maybe the most excited about these stairs unwrapping them I am going to feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Even with everything just primed I love how bright and airy the house is feeling! We decided to go with Alabaster by @sherwinwilliams for walls trim and ceiling (in different finishes). I can't wait to see it!! Alabaster is what we had in our previous home and have loved it! What size pendant do you think over the kitchen? We're moving in so soon and I just can't wait #homerenovation

You know what’s necessary when you’re moving? A storage unit! If you’ve been here for a while you know we have used @Extra Space Storage units for the overflow from our house, as a place to store our summer furniture and for our many Christmas decorations. I don’t know what we’ve gotten ourselves into on this one 🤣 I’m super excited to make the girls bedroom for them! They requested pink, girly, bows and no bunk beds! I thought painting the stripes on the wall wouldn’t be too bad but now I’m questions that decision 🤪😂 the girls are super excited about the plans so here we go!!
