Also building everything myself saved a ton of money! If you have to hire out every construction project, it becomes really expensive really fast. And on a budget, it's just not possible. Replying to @oliosgiganteus systems like this can be a great way to improve husbandry in local fish stores! But its a very bad idea for larger scale direct importing, which is what our store does. I also recently had a columnaris outbreak in a new batch of fish- and I would have lost literally every single fish if we had shared water. They were dying within 12hr of exposure, and preventing cross contamination was essential to saving hundreds of bettas. #pnwbettas #bettafish #bettashop #fishstore #fishkeeping #fishtok
