The uchine is a throwing weapon shaped like a large thick arrow. A really versatile weapon, with many creative uses depending on how far away the target is. Uchine jutsu打根術 is the training in uchine techniques. In Sengoku period, it was used by archers when they ran out of arrows or in hand-to-hand combat.
