HINT: YOU DONT!! You educate them on their options and do your job as a stylist. 1) most bridal stores have clips for dresses that are too big and extenders for dresses that are too small - I normally train stylists to not put brides in dresses that differ more than two sizes than what they measure 2) most designers offer loaner programs to send a dress in a different size so the bride can try on before they order - this takes some communication and planning on your part! 3) have resources available to brides when options 1 and 2 are not available - have recommended stores that carry a more diversified range of sizes for them to try on the designers they admire 4) continually suggest to pertinent ordering employees the importance of size inclusion and having multiple gowns in sizes that range beyond the “standard” 5) educate yourself on why your store doesn’t have a specific size available to a bride - do the designers only make certain sizes? Is your store a specialty store for petite or curvy brides? Is there a problem with upper level management not ordering diverse sizes? #wedding #bride #bridalstylist #weddinggown #weddingdresssize #dukeandduchessveils
