Ranking 10 of my realist oil paintings by difficulty. Some of these are deceptively hard and some came together so easily I was shocked by how quick it happened. I love all these paintings (with one major exception) but definitely felt the burn on those top 5. #traditionalart #oilpainting #artideas #easyart

The vast majority of my paintings are never finished. Most of the ones I do complete are not good enough to show, and the few I think are good enough to show in exhibitions are often rejected. It’s just part of being a working artist.
